10th Anniversary USO at PHL Celebrity Golf Outing Raises Over $100K
September 20, 2016 marked the 10th Anniversary of the USO @ PHL Celebrity Golf Outing hosted by Arora Engineers, Inc. and Liberty USO. This event brings together aviation leaders from the greater Philadelphia area to enjoy a day on the golf course, network, and most importantly, raise vital funds to support the USO. With the help of our generous sponsors and attendees, this year’s event raised over $100K in funds that will benefit the USO hospitality programs and services at the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL).
This year we were joined by Philadelphia International Airport CEO Chellie Cameron, the keynote speaker, as well as celebrities from the sports and entertainment industries including: Miss New Jersey Brenna Weick; former Eagles Harold Carmichael, Seth Joyner, and Hollis Thomas; former Flyers Brian Boucher and Dave Schultz; and former Phillies player Dave Schultz.
Joseph Brooks, President & CEO of the USO of Pennsylvania and Southern NJ, stated, “Without the leadership of Manik Arora and Arora’s USO at PHL golf outing, the USO simply could not take care of the 81,000 military family members who use our Philadelphia International Airport center.” Arora is proud to have helped raise funds for Liberty USO for the past decade and hopes to continue its partnership with this important organization in the future.
