Arora Awarded PennDOT/CATA Transit Facility Project

Arora was selected to provide design services for a new Transit Support Facility in Meadville, PA. The project entails the conversion of an existing building to provide space for offices, restrooms, maintenance functions, and a vehicle was bay with a new bus storage addition capable of housing 25 vehicles. A fueling station will also be located on-site.

Arora’s scope of work includes mechanical, electrical, plumbing, lighting, fire/life safety, and security/special systems for the new facility. The project is a joint effort between PennDOT’s Bureau of Public Transportation and the Crawford Area Transportation Authority.
