15th Arora USO Golf Outing!

On Monday September 11, 2023, Arora Engineers (Arora) and USO hosted the 15th USO Golf Outing at Hartefeld National Country Club. Despite the rainy weather, it was a great day for golf! All attendees enjoyed a fun-filled day of golf with delicious food and drinks, raffles with exciting prizes, musical entertainment, and non-stop fun.

September 11th stands as a reminder that even in the face of unimaginable challenges, our unity and resilience prevail. Just as we come together on the golf course to conquer each hole, we as a nation come together to conquer adversity. This day reminded all of us of the strength that lies within our bonds, the courage that defines us, and the unwavering spirit that carries us forward.

As attendees gathered for the golf outing on this significant day, we were able to honor the memory of those we lost and celebrate the unbreakable human spirit that drives us to overcome obstacles in the face of adversity.

This year, we raised $88,765. All of the proceeds from this outing will benefit USO Hospitality Programs and Services at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). We are so incredibly thankful for everyone that made this year’s golf outing a huge success!

A special thank you to all of our sponsors, the USO, PHL, Allan Moore, Deputy Director of Aviation at PHL, Keynote Speakers Jim Lee, Director of Operations at Wawa, Inc. and Jim Tyrell, C.M., Chief Revenue Petty Officer at PHL, Sergeant First Class Justin Wade for singing our National Anthem, Hartefeld National Golf Course, Wawa for donating breakfast, Dietz & Watson for providing a delicious lunch, the Arora Blues Band for entertaining us with live music during cocktail hour, Miss New Jersey Victoria Mozitis, and to all of the volunteers who helped make this outing one we will never forget.
