Anastacia Michigan Named 40 Under 40 Award Winner

Arora Engineers, Inc. is pleased to announce that Anastacia Michigan, PE, LEED Green Associate, has been named an Airport Business Magazine Top 40 Under 40 Award Winner. The Top 40 Under 40 showcases the top talent and leading thinkers in the aviation industry who are driving success and innovations for the future. Candidates for 2021 were vetted on innovation, outstanding attributes, and commitment and involvement in the industry. Winners are selected by members of the Airport Business staff.

This is the tenth year of the Top 40 program. Many past honorees are now leading major institutions and projects of the aviation industry due to their dedication and recognition for their valuable skills.

Anastacia Michigan is a Mechanical Engineer at Arora and has served as the lead mechanical designer for large projects in Pennsylvania including multimillion-dollar vertical transportation improvements at Lehigh Valley International Airport. Often, she works in the transportation or education. She has also authored a comprehensive whitepaper on improvements to indoor air quality for disease mitigation and led a nationwide webinar on the topic sponsored by the Airport Consultants Council for over 130 industry attendees.

Anastacia became a U.S. Green Building Council certified LEED Green Associate in 2018 and plans to pursue LEED AP BD+C certification. Within her community, Michigan has served as a cantor at her local church and volunteered her time with their musical department. She regularly participates in Arora’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month fundraising efforts and supports events sponsored by the local Women in Transportation Seminar chapter.
