Arora Ranks #29 In Philadelphia Business Journals List of Family-Owned Businesses

Arora Engineers, Inc. is pleased to be ranked #29 on the Philadelphia Business Journal’s List of Family-Owned Businesses in the Philadelphia Region! The top 50 companies on the list, ranked by employees, includes companies headquartered in the Philadelphia region as well as outside family-owned businesses with a local office.

Founded in 1986 by Manik’s father, Manohar (Mike) Arora, MS, PE, shortly after immigrating to the United States, Arora Engineers, Inc. initially only specialized in electrical engineering, and its first office was in the family’s basement. As the business grew, additional services were added including mechanical, plumbing, fire alarm and suppression, and security/special systems engineering.

Manik Arora, PE, who was named one of the Top 25 Minority Business Leaders in The Philadelphia Business Journal’s 2021 Influencers Collection earlier this year, became President & CEO in 2006. Under his leadership the company has expanded to 14 offices across the United States, over 200 employees, and three subsidiary companies, Electronic Data, Inc. (EDI), Arora Technology Group, LLC®, and Arora Systems Group, LLC®.
