Arora is pleased to be ranked #2 on the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Minority-owned Businesses list for 2020! This is Arora’s 6th consecutive appearance on this list of Ethnic Minority-owned Businesses in Greater Philadelphia ranked by their previous year’s revenue.

“We have been grateful for the success of our firm each of these past 34 years, but we are especially grateful amidst the challenges brought on by COVID–19 in 2020” says Manik K. Arora, President & CEO. “We would also like to congratulate all of the businesses that were recognized this year!”

Founded in 1986 by Manik’s father, Manohar (Mike) Arora, MS, PE, shortly after immigrating to the United States, Arora Engineers, Inc. initially only specialized in electrical engineering, and its first office was in the family’s basement. As the business grew, additional services were added including mechanical, plumbing, fire alarm and suppression, and security/special systems engineering.

Manik, who was also recently honored as a Philadelphia Business Journal 2020 Minority Business Leader, became President & CEO in 2006. Under his leadership the company has expanded to 14 offices across the United States, over 200 employees, and three subsidiary companies, Arora Systems Group, LLC®, Arora Technology Group, LLC®, and Electronic Data, Inc. (EDI).
