Arora Welcomes 2022 Interns!

Arora Engineers (Arora) is proud to welcome our 2022 summer interns! Arora is committed to mentoring the next generation of professionals/ engineers. Our co-op program provides students with the opportunity to learn essential skills, and to have fun while learning. Meet our interns below and learn what they are excited to learn most during their co-op this summer:

Jenna Ahart – Marketing Intern: “I am currently a student George Washington University majoring in Journalism & Mass Communications. In my internship at Arora, I hope to become more effective in both interpersonal and mass communications, especially in a professional setting. I look forward to familiarizing myself with the company’s scope of engineering work while developing technical writing skills.”

Andrew Bonafiglia – Mechanical Intern: “I go to Temple University and I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering. This summer, I am looking forward to learning how to effectively design mechanical systems and work together as a team. I am also looking forward to contributing to the 30th Street Station project.”

Kenneth S. Buoy – Fire/Life Safety Intern: “I attend Oklahoma State University studying Fire Protection and Safety Technology Engineering. During my time at Arora this summer, I am looking forward to learning more about the process that takes place in designing a code compliant fire protection system. I am thrilled to be here and look forward to gaining a greater understanding of what it is like to be part of a Fire and Life Safety team!”

Mikhail Shchukin – Fire/Life Safety Intern: “I am a student at SUNY Maritime College majoring in Mechanical Engineering. During my internship with Arora, I am looking to gain practical experience in designing the mechanical side of fire protection systems based on application of relevant codes and standards, as well as learning the best practices of system modelling in BIM.”
