Arora held its Annual Meeting on May 23, 2019 at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington, DE. The purpose of the Annual Meeting is to have all staff members, across 14 regional offices, join together as one group to reflect, communicate, and collaborate around the company’s shared vision.

Manik Arora, PE, President & CEO, opened the day with a detailed account of the successes and challenges of 2018, as well as an overview of the current state of the industry, and the company’s goals moving forward. Manik also welcomed a large number of new employees and the team from Electronic Data, Inc. (EDI), which we acquired this past April. These introductions illustrated how much the company has grown within the past year alone, and Manik emphasized how our continued growth is helping us achieve our future goals.

The CFO, leaders in business development, and the operations manager from each regional office discussed the big projects, trends, and developments that will impact the company and the staff moving forward. Supporting departments, such as Human Resources and IT, addressed the group to explain new processes and procedures that will impact the company’s day to day operations.

The entire Arora team also participated in the presentation “Taking Flight with DISC,” a personality styles training program by Merrick Rosenberg. This fun, interactive, and enlightening presentation helps participants understand and utilize their own personalities and strengths, while also recognizing other personalities and learning how to interact with each style. This program not only helps employees understand and empathize with their colleagues, it also encourages them to interact and work more efficiently as a team.

The team was also able to officially celebrate and support Red Nose Day with a fantastic group photo, and the day concluded with a very happy hour on the riverfront, where the staff celebrated and enjoyed each other as colleagues.
