Manik K. Arora, PE, was recognized by Philadelphia SmartCEO magazine as a Smart100 CEO for his leadership, strategic vision, and character in running a business.
In his profile, Mr. Arora described the company as 'engineering' growth. There have been many pivotal growth moments over the past 25 years - landing large, multi-year contracts, diversifying business segments, building repeat business and obtaining client referrals, mentoring staff. The firm grew 1000% in the past 10 years, and in the next 10, he sees the potential to grow three times greater.

Arora was named to The Zweig Letter's 2011 Hot List. This list recognizes the fastest-growing architecture, engineering, planning, and environmental consulting firms throughout the United States and Canada.
Firms are ranked according to their three-year growth rate in gross revenue with 50% of the ranking based on percentage growth and 50% based on dollar growth. The firms with the best combined scores are the winners on
The Zweig Letter Hot Firm List and are recognized at The Zweig Letter Hot Firm Conference held every October.
This year's conference will be held on October 26-27 at the Montage Hotel in Laguna Beach, CA.
ZweigWhite founder and CEO, Mark Zweig, remarked that companies on the list have achieved success despite the challenges of the current economic climate.
Arora is excited to be one of the 175 firms on the list, and looks forward to continued growth in the years ahead.

Arora is a second generation company. The firm was founded in 1986 by Manohar (Mike) Arora, PE, MS, who currently serves as Chairman. Two of his three sons, Manik and Raj, followed his footsteps into engineering and now lead the daily operations.

The list appeared in the Journal's August 28-September 3, 2009 edition. Local employers were polled and results were tabulated according to a variety of criteria, such as number of employees, organizational structure, and ownership stock allocation.

This is the second time that the firm has successfully made it onto the list, posted in the Journal's May 29-June 4, 2009 edition.
"Even in a down economy, Arora's momentum continues to soar," said Manik Arora, PE. "We are very fortunate to have many strong client relationships, and we look forward to exceeding their expectation for service in the years to come."
The list was based on fiscal 2008 local billings, number of local employees, and types of projects.
