MECHANICAL ENGINEERS Seeking individual experienced in mechanical systems design for commercial buildings, airports, schools, medical facilities, etc. Responsibilities entail conception and development of solutions to mechanical design problems. Candidate selected will participate in establishing system or component design objectives and will be expected to write portions of complex specification and engineering reports. Must have experience managing multiple projects, demonstrated ability to coordinate with other disciplines, and knowledge of the design and construction process, as well as related codes and standards. Must be able to lead various phases of a project. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Windows Office applications required. Mechanical design may include: HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, terminal units, water systems, air systems, steam systems (including vacuum and vapor), water source heat pumps, conventional domestic water, drain waste, vent, stormwater, fuel gas systems, commercial kitchens, acid waste systems, and laboratory gas systems. B.S. degree and EIT/FE/PE/LEED desired. ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS Seeking individual experienced in electrical systems design for commercial buildings, airports, schools, medical facilities, etc. Responsibilities entail conception and development of solutions to electrical design problems. Candidate selected will participate in establishing system or component design objectives and will be expected to write portions of complex specification and engineering reports. Must have experience managing multiple projects, demonstrated ability to coordinate with other disciplines, and knowledge of the design and construction process, as well as related codes and standards. Must be able to lead various phases of a project. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Windows Office applications required. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Windows Office applications required. Electrical design may include: power distribution, communication systems, lighting, service entrance equipment, motor control centers, switchboards, panelboards, feeders, one line diagrams, load calculations, power and lighting equipment selection, sizing and layout, fire alarm, voice, data, clock and program, intercom, CATV, MATV, and CCTV. B.S. degree and EIT/FE/P.E. desired. SPECIAL SYSTEMS/TELECOMMUNICATIONS SPECIALISTS Individual must be experienced in special systems/telecommunications systems designs for airports, schools, commercial buildings, medical facilities, residential buildings, etc. Must have experience managing multiple projects, demonstrated ability to coordinate with other disciplines, and knowledge of the design and construction process, as well as related codes and standards. Must be able to lead various phases of a project. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Windows Office applications required. Design experience may include security systems, surveillance systems, telecommunications infrastructure, data and telecom cabling, data networks, data centers, IT systems, structured cabling and UCDS systems, Public address/Terminal Announcement Control Systems (TACS), etc. B.S. degree and EIT/FE/PE/RCDD desired. FIRE PROTECTION ENGINEERS Engineers needed to assist specialized fire protection and life safety department. Candidate selected will participate in establishing system or component design objectives and will be expected to write portions of complex specification and engineering reports. Must have experience managing multiple projects, demonstrated ability to coordinate with other disciplines, and knowledge of the design and construction process, as well as related codes and standards. Must be able to lead various phases of a project. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Windows Office applications required. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Windows Office applications required. Responsibilities entail conception and development of solutions to fire protection design problems. Fire Protection design may include: wet/dry sprinkler systems, dry chemical extinguishing systems, standpipes, foam systems, special hazard suppression, fire protection water supply systems, fire alarm and detection for new or specialized retrofit applications, code analysis and consulting, plan review, performance based analysis, and risk/hazard assessment. B.S. degree and coursework or exp. in the following areas: fire modeling, suppression systems analysis and building code analysis needed. CAD experience and EIT/FE/PE desired. PROJECT MANAGERS Individual must be experienced in managing one or multiple projects during design and construction administration phases. Should be experienced in managing projects such as commercial buildings, schools, medical facilities, transportation, airport facilities (terminal and airfield levels), residential, etc. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary. Candidate must be assertive and aggressive in order to manage projects through completion, while keeping project schedules and budgets in check. Ability to use project management tools such as ProLog and MS Project desired. B.S. degree with P.E. preferred. FACILITIES MAINTENANCE MANAGERS Property Owners and Operators rely on Arora's Facilities Maintenance staff 24/7 to handle a wide range of tasks on their behalf. Not only does this free up valuable time for in-house staff. Services include: maintenance, installation, and care of fire alarm and fire protection (sprinkler) systems; baggage handling systems; signage; jet way bridges; landscaping; elevators; electrical and mechanical systems; MUFIDS; and snow removal. CONSTRUCTION MANAGERS Construction Managers needed to supervise and coordinate all aspects of project implementation to insure that work is completed on time, on budget, and to specification. Candidate will be responsible for a variety of projects ranging in construction value from small to multi-million dollar. Manage CM staff and contactors on a daily basis. Monitor schedules. Perform contract administration duties, including: assisting in bid analysis and award, coordinating pre-construction conferences, review of contractor's initial construction schedule, schedule of values, submittals, and generally respond to contractor's questions regarding contract administration. Knowledge of Windows Office applications, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills required. B.S. degree desired. CAD DESIGNERS/OPERATORS Assist engineers with design of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, sound insulation, and fire protection systems. Must have the ability to create/implement/follow CAD standards for the department and be proficient in the use of AutoCad software. Responsibilities may include field surveys, specification preparation, production, and other duties as assigned. |
