Vice President, Special Systems Practice Lead

With more than 30 years of experience in integrated systems for aviation, Heath Kolman has engineered and consulted on over 100 IT, communications, and security systems projects at more than 60 domestic and international airports. His expertise spans digital transformation, systems integration, converged network infrastructure, common-use systems, operational databases, security platforms, telecommunications rooms, and command and operations center design.

As Vice President, Special Systems Practice Lead at Arora Engineers, Heath oversees the firm’s Special Systems practice, driving excellence in technology planning, architectural design, and systems implementation. He leads strategy, mentorship, and quality assurance initiatives across the practice, while collaborating closely with teams in aviation, technology, and MEP disciplines.

A respected voice in the aviation technology community, Heath serves on the Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA) Business Information Technology Committee and Public Safety & Security Committee, contributing to the development of industry best practices and future-focused infrastructure standards.

Did You Know

Heath enjoys caring for tropical plants, especially orchids, and spending weekends tent camping with his family. He also serves as a bilingual missionary, supporting Vineyard USA church planting efforts in the Dominican Republic.
