Nick Ryan, PMP
Chief Development Officer
Nick was fortunate to be introduced to Aviation as a participant in Drexel University’s College of Engineering cooperative education program. He joined the firm in 2006 and brings over two decades of extensive project and program management for civil, electrical, multidisciplinary, and systems improvements for transportation facilities of all sizes, and through all stages of the program life cycle.
As Chief Development Officer, Nick is responsible for development efforts supporting the growth of Arora’s global business. He champions internal and external initiatives focused on inclusion, diversity, equity, accessibility, and leadership development. Nick’s effective communication and hyper-responsiveness contributes to the firm’s culture that emphasizes quality and client satisfaction. As a key member of the Arora Executive Leadership Team Nick works with the other departments to share thought leadership, expand association engagement, and to strengthen our mentorship with disadvantaged businesses.
Nick is very active in industry associations serving on the executive board for the Airports Consultants Council, Illuminating Engineering Society Aviation Lighting Committee, and the Middletown Area Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he currently chairs and participates in several committees within the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC) and Delaware Aviation Advisory Committee.
Nick never missed a day of school through college graduation, started his first business at the age of 17, and is responsible for organizing and producing over 550 for profit and nonprofit events.
