Robert began his career with Colgate Palmolive and later Sony Electronics where he had success and great results building self-directed work teams, and senior/executive talent development programs. While at Sony, Robert was a pioneer leading the development of the company’s first succession planning and subsequent talent review processes.
Robert’s industry experience includes consumer products, electronics, water utilities, and steel-related industries. He has been the top HR leader in three businesses and has conducted extensive travel to Asia in prior roles. Robert is focused on HR being a true business partner and ensuring that Arora hires the best people, retains those people, and continues to be a truly great place to work.
As a certified coach, Robert has been a long-time member of the International Coaching Federation and was a co-founder of the Pittsburgh Organizational Development Network. Robert’s core belief is that you can get great business performance only through people.
Robert has a love for all sports, especially football and fishing. He has a love for music of all types which he learned from his father who once sang with the late great Nancy Wilson.
