Employee Spotlight: Sheeba Money, PSP, CTS, DSCE, Special Systems Project Lead

  • Employee Spotlight Sheeba Money

1. How did you come to do what you do?
Since childhood Mathematics was my favorite subject, and that’s how figured I wanted to be an engineer. During college, when I applied for an internship, I was able to get a job at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), and since then my interest in Engineering and Airport related projects grew further.

2. What are your favorite types of projects to work on?
My favorite types of projects to work on are definitely airport related projects that involve systems such as Security Access, Video Surveillance, and Electronic Video Information Display Systems. Also, having the airport in a nice fun city such as Nashville and Sarasota are icing on the cake as you get to explore and have a good time at these locations, during off hours of course.

3. What is the best career lesson you’ve learned so far?
We need to continue to learn to keep up with evolving standards and technology. One of the best ways to achieve this is getting certified in systems that you are most interested in and keep up with the renewal credits as well as attending the associated conferences. For me, it is Physical Security & Audio/Visual systems. I am fortunate to have both PSP (Physical Security Professional) and CTS (Certified Technology Specialist).

4. What do you enjoy most about working at Arora?
Having the opportunity to work on different types of projects involving several Special Systems, as well as being able to work with very talented, experienced, and friendly coworkers with a positive attitude.

5. Outside of work, what do you like to do for fun?
Shopping, travel & trying out new restaurants/cuisines. In addition, I like to spend time with my husband, and two boys ages two and 10. We enjoy going to the movies, water park, and arcade as well as listening to my husband sing as he is a great singer.
