JFK Redevelopment Program Surpasses $2B in MWBE Participation

The JFK Millennium Partners Terminal 6 Redevelopment Program has achieved a remarkable milestone, surpassing the $2.3 Billion mark in MWBE participation, as set by LaGuardia (LGA) Airport!

Arora Engineers (Arora), one of the region’s largest MBE certified engineering, construction, and asset management firms, has led numerous multimillion-dollar initiatives as both a Prime and a Subconsultant for the PANYNJ’s recent Airport Redevelopment programs, transforming our region’s airports into modern, world-class gateways. This includes John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)’s $9.5B New Terminal One, the $4.2B T6 Redevelopment Program, and the $344M American Airlines T8 Capacity Enhancements project. Additionally, Arora has played a pivotal role in the redevelopment of LGA’s new $4.2B Central Terminal Building and $350M West Parking Garage, as well as Newark International Airport (EWR)’s $2.7B Terminal A Redevelopment Program. Moreover, Arora has spearheaded thousands of infrastructure improvement projects at 125+ airports worldwide.

Arora is spearheading several critical aspects of the JFK Millennium Partners Terminal 6 Redevelopment Program. Our expertise in Terminal Fire Protection, Plumbing, Special Systems, and Airfield/Airside Electrical engineering, coupled with our proficiency in Master Systems Integration services for low voltage and IT systems, positions us as key contributors to the project’s success.

Building upon our extensive involvement in the design phase of this cutting-edge Terminal and its accompanying BIM and Asset data, Arora has also been entrusted with the implementation of IBM Maximo and the Arora ATLAS® suite of mobile products for Terminal 6. This initiative aims to ensure seamless Operations, Maintenance, Inventory, and Asset Management, further elevating the Terminal’s operational excellence.
