Amazon, Electric Vehicle Design Build

Arora Engineers (Arora) engineering and design services for Amazon’s Design Build Electric Vehicle projects. Responsibilities included developing plans for building and construction of electric vehicle chargers, ducts and conduits, and site/civil design required for the construction.

SCOPE OF SERVICES INCLUDED:

• Provided single line diagrams and load calculations for PECO coordination.
• Documented available fault current value at the service point on the single line diagram provided by PECO.
• Performed voltage drop calculations for each feeder and branch circuit.
• Prepared panel schedules.
• Reviewed equipment submittals and responded to RFIs during the Construction Phase.
• Responded to comments from code officials and updated drawings during the permitting process.
• Participated in virtual weekly project meetings during the design phase and three meetings during the construction phase.
• Prepared signed and sealed Electrical and Civil Permit Drawings, including site plan, single line diagram, panel schedules, and details for:
  • 30%, 90% and 100% engineering/design drawings
  • Permit/Final Submission – Permit Drawings (signed and sealed)
