Kennedy International Airport (JFK), focusing on sustainable solutions and electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure. Arora’s work supported the airport’s commitment to net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, incorporating sustainable solutions such as on-site renewable energy generation and optimized aircraft ground and gate operations. This project highlighted the significant impact of integrating advanced EV infrastructure in large-scale airport developments.

Airside EV Bus, EV Fleet, and Electric Ground Support Vehicle Charging Systems
- Complete design and specification of Airside Electric Vehicle Charging Systems.
- Included Level 2 and Level 3 DC Fast Charging Equipment Systems.

- Charger System Monitoring and Controls integrated with facilities maintenance operations, Airport Operations Data Base, and Financial Management System.
DC Fast Charger Systems Design
- Two 250KW EV Bus Charger Systems.
- Eight 150KW EV Charger Systems.
- Thirteen 100KW Aircraft Tractor Charger Systems.
- Level 2 DCFC systems serving 82 Ground Support Vehicles.
- Infrastructure for additional Level 2 DCFC to serve 50 more Ground Support Vehicles.
