KidZooU at the Philadelphia Zoo

Arora provided professional electrical, lighting, fire/life safety, and special systems design services, including power utility service and distribution, technology infrastructure and fire alarm design for the KidZooU: Hamilton Family Children’s Zoo & Faris Family Education Center for the Zoological Society of Philadelphia. The zoo offers educational programs that nurture children’s learning through a unique wildlife exhibit.

The project involved the development and construction of a new children’s zoo at the site of the Pachyderm House, including a new stable and restroom buildings. The goal was to complete the project in a single-phase renovation of the existing Pachyderm building and surrounding site.
