Pennsylvania Convention Center, Digital Displays

Arora Engineers (Arora), working as a subconsultant to Uber Displays, provided Electrical and Special Systems engineering services for a new display installation at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Pennsylvania Convention Center is one of the premier convention and exhibition facilities in the United States, spanning multiple city blocks and serving as a destination for conventions, trade shows, meetings, and special events.

The project involved the integration of power and technology infrastructure to support a new digital display installation within the facility. Arora worked closely with Uber Displays and the project stakeholders to develop a coordinated design that met the operational and technical requirements of the Convention Center while minimizing impacts to ongoing facility operations.

SCOPE OF SERVICES INCLUDED:

Electrical Engineering Services

Arora developed electrical designs to support the display installation, including power distribution, equipment connections, and coordination with existing building infrastructure. The team evaluated existing conditions, identified available power sources, and prepared construction documents to support the installation of the new display systems.

Arora coordinated closely with the project team to ensure the design integrated seamlessly within the facility while meeting applicable codes, standards, and owner requirements.

Special Systems Engineering Services

Arora provided Special Systems engineering services to support the display’s technology and communications requirements. The team developed designs and documentation to facilitate connectivity, system integration, and coordination with existing facility technology infrastructure.

Throughout the design process, Arora worked collaboratively with Uber Displays and facility stakeholders to ensure all systems were properly coordinated and aligned with project objectives.
