SFO Terminal Signage & Wayfinding Program

Arora was a part of a team that performed a comprehensive analysis and review of the terminal complex signage and wayfinding program at San Francisco International Airport (SFO).

The analysis included review of all existing digital signage, including data sources, infrastructure and content. Passenger surveys and stakeholder meetings were conducted to garner feedback from airport users.

A major goal of the project team was to deliver an analysis of the facilities signage solution from a holistic standpoint. The principals and best practices used to design and implement both static and dynamic signage systems were considered when performing the analysis and making the recommendations for the overall signage system.

The recommendations allowed SFO to improve its position on the baseline solutions based on feasibility, stakeholder feedback, passenger feedback and overall cost.
