Arora Engineers and Monyx Engineers Unite for Global Expansion and Innovation

On November 7, 2023, Arora Engineers (Arora) and Monyx Engineers Private Limited (Monyx) celebrated the inauguration of Monyx with a ceremony. This event marked the commencement of Arora’s Global operations in India and throughout Asia.

Monyx is a fully owned subsidiary of Arora, situated in Bengaluru, India. It is dedicated to providing support for infrastructure projects for clients globally, with a focus on India, Asia, the Middle East, and beyond, in addition to its support for clients in the United States. As a crucial component of Arora’s international expansion strategy, Monyx will function as the global design and technology hub, facilitating the seamless execution of projects worldwide.

Monyx’s mission is to deliver expert professional services and technology solutions in line with Arora’s standards. By blending international expertise with local insights, Monyx aims to provide innovative solutions that surpass client expectations. Monyx offers a wide array of services to cater to the diverse requirements of infrastructure projects, leveraging its local design, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and technology staff, along with the support of over 225 global resources from Arora, EDI, and the firm’s other subsidiaries.

The India office was beautifully adorned to welcome Manik Arora, PE, President and CEO of Arora. Upon his arrival, a traditional shawl was draped around him, followed by the ceremonial ribbon-cutting to officially open the new Monyx office. As part of the traditional lighting of the lamp, Manik then illuminated the space symbolizing enlightenment and auspicious beginnings. To honor this special occasion, he was also presented with a cultural Indian gift.

Balamurali (Bala) Rengasami, the CEO of Monyx, expressed his thoughts, emphasizing a holistic approach to airport design and project delivery by considering life cycle of the airports. He says, “When I met Manik Arora, I realized that he built Arora Engineers with a holistic approach, and he was always looking for ways to contribute to the client. When he mentioned that he wanted to have the Global Design Innovation office in his country of origin, I was delighted at the opportunity of contributing to the industry.”
