Arora Joins Industry Partners in Support of the North Texas Food Bank

For the third consecutive year, Arora Engineers (Arora) proudly sponsored Canstruction Dallas, supporting the North Texas Food Bank’s mission to combat hunger across the region. As our organization continues to grow, including the recent addition of J.A. Watts, we remain committed to supporting the communities where we live and work.

The impact of those efforts is significant. According to the North Texas Food Bank, approximately 744,000 North Texans experience food insecurity, and the organization provided access to 116 million meals during fiscal year 2025 through its network of food pantries and community partners. Canstruction brings together professionals from across the architecture, engineering, and construction industry to create structures made entirely from canned food, all in support of the North Texas Food Bank. Following the competition, the food used in each build is donated to help families facing food insecurity throughout North Texas.

This year’s Gresham Smith and Austin Commercial team entry, “Taking a Bite Out of Hunger,” featured a JAWS-inspired shark constructed from more than 3,100 cans and pasta boxes. The donated food will help support the North Texas Food Bank’s ongoing hunger relief efforts.

As part of Arora’s commitment to community engagement, we are honored to support initiatives that make a meaningful impact in the communities we serve. We thank Gresham Smith, Austin Commercial, and the North Texas Food Bank for their continued leadership and dedication to addressing hunger across North Texas.
