Arora Ranked #4 in the Philadelphia Business Journal’s 2022 List of Minority Owned Businesses

Arora Engineers (Arora) is proud to be ranked #4 on the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Minority-owned Businesses list for 2022, making Arora the overall largest minority-owned Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) firms in the Philadelphia Region! This is Arora’s 8th consecutive appearance on this list of Ethnic Minority-owned Businesses in Greater Philadelphia ranked by their previous year’s revenue.

Founded in 1986 by Manohar (Mike) Arora, MS, PE, shortly after immigrating to the United States, Arora Engineers initially only specialized in electrical engineering, and its first office was in the family’s basement. As the business grew, additional services were added including mechanical, plumbing, fire alarm and suppression, and security/special systems engineering.

Manik Arora, PE, became President & CEO in 2006. Manik has been with the business since 1993, including 10 years at PHL Airport helping lead capital programs. When Manik was named CEO and assumed control of the firm from his father in 2006, his goal for the future was rapid growth on an international scale. Under Manik’s leadership, Arora has grown over 1100% in revenue over the last decade and strategically established branch offices in major cities across the globe. At Arora, the enthusiasm staff bring to their work extends beyond their own projects and into the goals and needs of the communities in which Arora does business.
