Arora Ranks in BD+C’s Top Transit Engineering Firms

- Amtrak’s 30th Street Station – Philadelphia, PA
As one of the nation’s busiest intermodal transportation hubs, Amtrak’s 30th Street Station is undergoing a bold transformation, and Arora is proud to play a key role. Our MEP and systems engineering services are helping to reimagine the station for the future, enhancing passenger flow, boosting safety, and driving energy efficiency as part of a visionary, long-term redevelopment plan. - SEPTA Systemwide Improvements – Locations across Pennsylvania
Our team supported a wide range of infrastructure and technology upgrades across multiple locations, including station modernization, passenger communications systems, and facility renovations. These efforts help SEPTA meet growing demand while enhancing safety, accessibility, and the overall user experience throughout the region. - In addition, Arora provided Electrical and Fire Life Safety & Fire Protection Engineering design services for the new Wissahickon Transportation Center, a $45 million facility that will serve as a key hub in the SEPTA network. The center includes a modern passenger waiting area and a three-sided depot lined with bus bays, all designed to streamline operations and improve rider experience. Completion is expected in 2025.
- Newark Regional Transportation Center – Newark, DE
As part of a multidisciplinary team, Arora provided MEP, fire/life safety, and special systems design for upgrades to this Amtrak and SEPTA-served station. The project added a new full-service station building, pedestrian bridge, and a 950-foot platform to support increased service and passenger volume. - MBTA Green Line Extension – Boston, MA
Arora provided construction phase services for this significant infrastructure endeavor aimed to improve transit access and connectivity in the Greater Boston area. Arora’s role included overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and coordinating with various stakeholders to facilitate the successful execution of the project.
