Arora Team Levels Up with LEED: Meet Jared & Katie

As Arora Engineers (Arora) celebrates Earth Day we’re reminded that the future of our industry depends on how we design and deliver sustainable solutions.

This year, we’re proud to celebrate Jared Lynch and Katie Kent for earning their LEED certification, an achievement that reflects their initiative, professional growth, and commitment to sustainability.

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification demonstrates a strong understanding of environmentally responsible design and construction. Through this accomplishment, Jared and Katie are strengthening Arora’s ability to deliver innovative, sustainability-focused solutions to our clients.

Their achievement highlights the kind of leadership we value, team members who take initiative, expand their expertise, and bring forward-thinking approaches to their work. It also reflects the momentum we’re seeing across our teams, with professionals at all stages of their careers stepping up to lead in sustainability. As sustainability continues to shape the built environment, efforts like these help position Arora for continued impact.

Jared Lynch, Plumbing Designer, shared, “Achieving LEED accreditation is a significant step in my professional journey, strengthening my ability to contribute meaningfully to green building initiatives. I look forward to applying this knowledge to future projects, collaborating with my coworkers, and continuing to promote sustainability in our industry.” 

Katie Kent, Mechanical Designer, added, “Obtaining my LEED Green Associate certification furthers my ability to make a significant impact in green building. I am so interested in the LEED and green building sphere that I am now working towards also obtaining a certification in LEED AP BD+C to help further my impact in the green building sphere while simultaneously furthering my own professional development.”
