Arora held its Annual Meeting on May 10, 2018 at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington, DE. The purpose of the Annual Meeting is to have all staff members, across 12 regional offices, join together as one group to reflect, communicate, and collaborate around the company’s shared vision.

Manik Arora, PE, President & CEO, opened the day with a detailed account of the successes and challenges of 2017, as well as an overview of the current state of the industry, and the company’s goals moving forward. Manik also emphasized the importance of communication, one of Arora’s core values, which continued as a theme throughout the day. The CFO, leaders in business development, and the operations manager from each regional office discussed the big projects, trends, and developments that will impact the company and the staff moving forward. Supporting departments, such as Human Resources and IT, also addressed the group to explain new processes and procedures that will impact the company’s day to day operations.

Joe Brooks, President & CEO of the USO of Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey, was the special guest speaker for the day, addressing the group during lunch. Joe discussed the importance of the USO and expressed his gratitude to the Arora family and company for always supporting their efforts through the Annual USO at PHL Celebrity Golf Outing. Along with the support of the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) and other generous donations, the brand new, state-of-the-art Liberty USO center opened this past April! The center will be able to accommodate about 100,000 visitors a year, including active duty service members, reservists, the National Guard, dependent family members, and retirees.

The day concluded with a very happy hour on the riverfront, where the staff celebrated and enjoyed each other as colleagues. Thank you to all those who participated in this exciting and productive day!
