Arora’s Annual Holiday Food Drive 2017

In honor of the holiday season of giving, Arora employees once again contributed to the West Chester Food Cupboard through our annual Holiday Food Drive. This year, our employees doubled their 2016 donation with a total contribution of 122.8 pounds of food. This donation will go to low-income individuals and families in the West Chester area who struggle to put food on their table.

Founded in 2009, the West Chester Food Cupboard is a non-profit organization that serves nearly 600 households a month in the West Chester area.  The organization is run as a client choice cupboard, which allows recipients to select the food that they want and need, as opposed to a pre-packed bag of groceries. The Cupboard also offers a wide selection of products beyond non-perishables, including fresh eggs, milk, butter, cheese, and produce, as well as household and personal care items.

Thanks to food and monetary donations from the community, the Cupboard was able to open a larger facility in October, and distributed over 955,000 pounds of food in the last year. Click here to donate today!
