Arora was on hand to celebrate the ground breaking of the nation’s biggest FedEx Ground sorting plant. The $335 million plant will be constructed on land previously owned by the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority (LNAA). Construction is anticipated to be completed in late summer 2018. The ceremony was attended by Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf, local officials, and FedEx representatives.

Arora helped make the project possible by leading the coordination, development, and ultimate approval of an environmental assessment which was necessary to release nearly 300 acres of airport property to FedEx. The process meticulously evaluated 23 impact categories and determined that the project would have no detrimental environmental impacts. Arora successfully completed the task in under ten months.

Since 2013, Arora has provided planning, architectural, and engineering services for LNAA. To date, Arora has successfully executed over 15 tasks with LNAA including planning, design and construction administration for various facility improvements.
