Celebrating National Intern Day: Investing in the Next Generation

At Arora Engineers (Arora), we believe the best way to prepare the next generation of engineers, designers, and construction professionals is by giving them meaningful, hands-on experience.
Each summer, our interns work alongside experienced professionals on projects that support airports, transportation systems, and critical infrastructure across the country. From design and engineering to field visits and project coordination, they gain valuable insight into how ideas become real-world solutions.
This summer, interns across Arora and J.A. Watts (JWI) had the opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects while learning from multidisciplinary teams. Whether visiting active job sites, supporting engineering and design efforts, or collaborating with project teams, they experienced firsthand the innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving that drive our work every day.
Beyond project experience, internships at Arora are about building relationships, asking questions, and developing the confidence to grow professionally. Through mentorship, collaboration, and exposure to a wide range of disciplines, our interns leave with a stronger understanding of the industry and the many career paths available within our organization.
We are grateful to each of our interns for their hard work, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn throughout the summer. It has been a pleasure watching them grow, and we are especially excited to welcome back a few familiar faces who returned for another summer with our team.
Happy National Intern Day to all of our interns. Thank you for being part of the Arora team. We look forward to seeing where your careers take you.
