Airfield Electrical Practice Lead

Joe is an Electrical Engineer with over 25 years of experience working with electrical systems for aviation projects. Both a Licensed Electrician and Professional Engineer, he is just as comfortable with an electrical journeyman’s tool kit as he is with advanced engineering calculations.

Joe’s hands-on knowledge of electrical systems, combined with his extensive experience in the operations of airfield navigational systems, allows him to focus on the strongest solutions for his aviation clients. Joe is a frequent presenter at airport and FAA conferences; he also co-developed a formula to calculate the cable insulation resistance of an airfield series lighting circuit. This calculation, along with circuit load calculations, enables designers to provide highly efficient airfield circuiting.
