Mike Messina
Chief Financial Officer
Mike Messina is an accomplished finance executive with more than 20 years of experience supporting professional services and engineering organizations through periods of growth, change, and increasing operational complexity. As Chief Financial Officer at Arora Engineers (Arora), Mike partners closely with executive leadership to provide financial clarity, strengthen operational discipline, and support the firm’s long-term strategic objectives.
Mike is known for his approachable leadership style and his ability to translate complex financial data into practical, actionable insights. He brings deep expertise in modernizing finance functions through automation, systems integration, and data analytics, helping leadership teams make informed decisions while maintaining a strong focus on people, process, and performance.
Prior to joining Arora, Mike held senior finance leadership roles across engineering, professional services, manufacturing, and distribution organizations, including serving as CFO of a multi-office engineering firm with more than 500 employees. Throughout his career, he has led ERP transformations, improved cash flow and working capital, implemented real-time financial dashboards, and supported mergers and acquisitions through due diligence and post-acquisition integration. He has also overseen audits, tax strategy, forecasting, and treasury operations in complex, multi-entity environments.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Neumann University and completed the Succeeding as a Strategic CFO program at Harvard Business School. He is member of FENG as well as the Philadelphia Chapter of the CFO Leadership Council. He is passionate about developing strong teams, leveraging technology, and helping engineering organizations scale responsibly while maintaining a culture of transparency and trust.

Mike’s favorite pastime is golfing, and he tries to get out any chance he can. He recently built a golf simulator in his garage so he can work on his game during the off season.
