Philadelphia International Airport proudly celebrated the grand opening of the new Terminal F Baggage Claim building on October 21, 2016. The new $35 million, 34,000 SF facility is an ultra-modern design with plenty of glass to allow for natural lighting.

Working with project designer The Sheward Partnership, Arora provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire and life safety, and special systems design and construction administration for the project.

Through the incorporation of sustainable design principles, the project became the first building to achieve LEED Gold certification at PHL. Arora contributed to this by designing high-efficiency heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment and energy-efficient lighting and controls, resulting in an anticipated 20% energy savings for the airport.

Arora also provided design and construction administration for the expansion and renovation of Terminal F, which opened in November 2013. The 86,000 SF project features three concourses connected by a central hub, 38 gate positions, a ticketing building, and a skybridge leading to the parking structure.
