Manik Arora Named 2026 Diversity in Business Honoree by the Philadelphia Business Journal
Arora Engineers (Arora) is proud to share that President & CEO Manik Arora has been recognized by the Philadelphia Business Journal as a 2026 Diversity in Business honoree, celebrating leaders who are advancing inclusion while driving meaningful business impact.
Under his leadership, Arora has grown from a regional engineering firm into a global infrastructure solutions provider, delivering integrated services across planning, design, construction, and enterprise technology. Manik has led more than 2,500% revenue growth and expanded the firm’s presence across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. His leadership is grounded in Arora’s mission of Rethinking Infrastructure®, combining engineering, technology, and data to create more resilient and efficient systems that better serve communities.
This recognition reflects not only business growth, but also a strong commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion across the industry. A key example is Arora’s work on the JFK New Terminal One program, where the team achieved 58% diverse subconsultant participation, creating meaningful opportunities for diverse partners on one of the nation’s most significant aviation developments.
Arora’s recent acquisition of JWI, a woman-owned firm, has expanded the firm to more than 400 employees and further strengthened the company’s commitment to building a more inclusive and diverse organization while continuing to expand its service capabilities.
When asked about leadership, Manik emphasizes a performance-driven mindset: “Build a great business or product first. The work won’t come just because you’re diverse—it comes when you’re the best at what you do.”
Outside of work, Manik enjoys playing tennis, listening to heavy metal, and following sports as simple ways to recharge while continuing to lead with the same energy that defines both his leadership style and Arora’s growth.
This recognition reflects not only Manik’s leadership, but also Arora’s continued commitment to delivering excellence while creating opportunities across the industry.
