Masha Drozdov, AIA, NCARB, Named 2025 Airport Business 40 Under 40!

With over 15 years of experience, Masha has helped deliver some of the world’s most complex and high-profile airport programs, including JFK New Terminal One, Newark Liberty Terminal A, and Bangalore Terminal 2. As Arora’s Director of Design for Major Programs, she is known for her ability to guide multidisciplinary teams, align technical and regulatory requirements, and ensure that large-scale terminal projects meet their operational, budgetary, and passenger-experience goals.
Masha’s influence extends well beyond project execution. She is an educator at NJIT, a mentor through ACE and Professional Women in Construction, and an advocate for developing inclusive pathways into the design and construction fields. Her research at Columbia University on “Immigrowth,” exploring how immigration shapes rapid urban expansion, reflects her broader interest in the social, cultural, and economic forces that shape modern infrastructure.
