City of Philadelphia Rec Centers CCTV

Arora provided special system and electrical design to add CCTV coverage to over 100 CCTV cameras across five recreational center sites for the Department of Public Property in Philadelphia.

The CCTV cameras provide increased security and deter illegal activity at the recreation centers making them a safer place to enjoy. The camera coverage includes specific areas such as recreation center entry and exit points as well as stair wells, meeting rooms and most of the outdoor basketball courts and baseball diamonds.

Arora’s design included wireless technology to facilitate the use of cameras on remote light poles to provide better coverage for baseball fields and basketball courts as well as building perimeters. Arora’s design and integration specifications have become the CCTV standards for the Department of Public Property.
