Myrtle Beach Terminal Concourse Expansion
Arora Engineers (Arora) partnered with Gresham Smith to support the MYR Terminal Concourse Expansion and SSCP Relocation at Myrtle Beach International Airport.
As part of the new two-level concourse addition, Arora delivered comprehensive Special Systems engineering and construction phase services. Our scope included telecommunications infrastructure and ICT space design, structured cabling, wireless network systems, and network security architecture. The team performed Wi-Fi spectrum analysis and evaluated Distributed Antenna System (DAS) requirements to ensure reliable connectivity throughout the terminal.
Arora also designed and coordinated audio-visual systems, public address, digital signage, CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems. Detailed layouts, backbone routing, equipment elevations, and system integration strategies were developed to align with airport standards and existing infrastructure.
During construction, Arora provided submittal reviews, RFI responses, site visits, inspections, and coordination to ensure seamless implementation and compliance.
