PHL Capacity Enhancement Program

Arora is part of the Global Program Partners, a joint venture formed by CH2M Hill, Delon Hampton & Associates, and CMTS, that was selected to lead the Capacity Enhancement Program (CEP).

Arora is providing MEP, special systems, fire/life safety, aeronautical electrical, GIS, and construction management. When complete, the CEP will transform PHL into an uber-modern facility.

Major aspects of the 15-year undertaking include design and construction of a fifth runway, as well as the extension of two existing runways; addition of an automated people mover system; design and construction of a centralized ground transportation center, an automated people mover system and an aircraft rescue and firefighting station; expansion and reconfiguration of the existing terminal complex; consolidation of rental car and parking facilities; relocation of the UPS facility and the Air Traffic Control Tower; and the creation of a new centralized airport maintenance facility.
