PHL Facilities Maintenance

Under the seventh iteration of the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) Facilities Management Contract, Arora Systems Group, LLC (ASG) provides fire alarm and fire protection system inspection, testing, and maintenance with 24/7 staff coverage at PHL. This is ASG’s fourth consecutive FMC contract with the City of Philadelphia’s Division of Aviation (DOA), having previously served on the FMC IV and V agreements as a subconsultant. ASG has been continuously providing services under this contract and its re-compete awards since 2004

ASG maintains an on-site, full-time, NICET-certified fire alarm team to provide continuous service.

In addition, ASG manages a team of baggage handling operators for PHL’s Terminal A-East, Sector 23, Terminal D and Terminal E baggage areas. The baggage handlers monitor the system, provide resolution of all system issues and perform preventative maintenance and system diagnostics to ensure smooth operations.

ASG also provides staff to monitor and perform maintenance for the Airfield Lighting Control System at PHL and PNE. These services include maintenance and monitoring of specialty hardware such as network switches and fiber control modules for the regulators. These items are a 24/7 operation for the airfield in five field lighting vault locations across the airport and play a vital role in airfield operations.
