The 12th Annual USO at PHL Celebrity Golf Outing
Arora Engineers, Inc. and the Liberty USO celebrated another successful USO at PHL Celebrity Golf Outing on September 25, 2018. Each year this event brings aviation industry leaders from the greater Philadelphia area together for a fun afternoon of golf, networking, and most importantly, raising funds for the Liberty USO Center at the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). Through the generous efforts of our sponsors and participants, this year’s event raised over $97,000 for the USO hospitality programs and services at PHL.
This year we were joined by celebrities from sports and entertainment including: Miss New Jersey Jaime Gialloreto; former Philadelphia Flyers Terry Carkner, Todd “The Fridge” Fedoruk, and Brian Propp; former Phillies Tommy Greene and Mickey Morandini; Broadcast Commentator for the Phillies Ben Davis; former Eagle William Thomas; former Indianapolis Colt Issac Jones. We were also honored to have a two US Navy servicemen play with us: Senior Chief Manny Perez and Chief Adam Jerasa.
Chellie Cameron, CEO of Philadelphia International Airport, and Joseph Brooks, President & CEO of the USO of Pennsylvania and Southern NJ, joined the group to thank everyone for their support and to celebrate the success of the brand new USO center at PHL, which is expected to host 90,000 visitors this year! Thank you to all those who organized, sponsored, and participated in this great event. Arora is proud to continue to raise funds for this very important organization and the work that they do for our troops.
